Like every year, this year also, Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited the applications for the posts of Stenographer Grade C and Grade D through Staff Selection Commission Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Examination 2023. Last date and time for application is 23.08.2023 at 23.00 hours. Therefore, the candidate intrested to apply for this examination must alert himself and apply before the diedline of the application.
In this examination, SSC conducts examination for filling the posts of Stenograher Grade C and Grade D for all Central Government's Departments/Ministries etc. Where, Grade pay for Stenographer Grade C posts are GP-4600 or GP-4200 (Basic pay starts from Rs. 44900/- & Rs.35400/- respectively which means Salary will start approximately Rs.58,000/- to Rs.68,000/- & Rs.70,000/- to 82,000/- per month respectively) and Grade pay for Stenographer Grade D post is GP-2400/- (Basic pay starts from Rs.25000/- which means salary will starts from Rs.42,000/- to Rs.48,000/- per month.

For SSC Steno Grade C: -
1. Intermediate (10+2) Passed.
2. English or Hindi Shorthand Speed of 100 WPM.
3. Transcript of 10 min dictation on computer in 50 Min for English or 65 Min for Hindi Shorthand.
For SSC Steno Grade D: -
1. Intermediate (10+2) Passed.
2. English or Hindi Shorthand Speed of 80 WPM.
3.Transcript of 10 min dictation on computer in 40 Min for English or 55 Min for Hindi Shorthand.
Age Limit: -
Age as on 01.08.2023.
Minimum Age : 18 Years
Maximum Age : 27 Years for Grade D
Maximum Age : 30 Year for Grade C

How to apply: -
The candidate can apply for this examination by logging in the SSC official website i.e. https://ssc.nic.in/ . First, candidate needs to be registered on the website for logining in the portal. Registration can be done by clicking on register now button in the right-upper corner as in the picture below: -
After registration, candidate can log in the website by entering user id and password. After logging into the portal, candidate can apply on any current exams of SSC as per his qualifications.
